Wander Beyond, Discover Around

At Mountain Peak Resort, the experience doesn’t end at our gates. Sakleshpur is surrounded by misty hills, hidden waterfalls, old forts, and forest trails that are just waiting to be discovered.

Manjarabad Fort

Just 20 minutes from the resort, Manjarabad Fort is one of Sakleshpur’s most iconic sites. Shaped like an eight -pointed star, this fort was designed for military defense - but today, it offers panoramic views of the Western Ghats and is perfect for a scenic walk. Early mornings here are magical with mist rolling across the hilltops.

Bisle View Point

About an hour’s drive away, Bisle View Point is a must-visit for nature lovers. From this vantage point, you can see three mountain ranges: Pushpagiri, Dodda Betta, and Kumara Parvatha. On a clear day, it feels like the clouds are within reach. The drive itself - through winding forest trails - is worth the visit.

Mallalli Falls

Located at the foot of Pushpagiri Hills, Mallalli Falls is a dramatic sight during the monsoon. The cascading water and surrounding greenery create the perfect monsoon photo - op. There are steps to walk down and get closer to the base - but be prepared for a bit of a climb back!

Agani Gudda

Agani Gudda, meaning "Fiery Hill," is a popular picnic and trekking spot surrounded by paddy fields and forested slopes. Especially stunning during the monsoon, the lush landscapes and rolling green hills make for a refreshing break from routine. It’s a lesser-known gem, great for small hikes and outdoor photos.
